Ads and privacy
- The app is free and supported by ads (Google AdMob). There is no paid tier.
- Users in the EEA and the UK are asked for consent before any personalised ad is shown, and can change or withdraw that choice at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy Settings in the app.
- Anonymous usage and crash reporting can be turned off from Settings → Usage & crash reporting.

Licensing
- Float Video Player uses LibVLC for Android
3.7.5, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 or later. LibVLC is used unmodified and linked dynamically.
- The complete corresponding source for that version is published by VideoLAN at
code.videolan.org/videolan/vlc-android.
- A copy of the corresponding source is also available on request for at least three years from netsofttouch@gmail.com.
- The full licence texts, and the statement covering your right to relink the app against a modified LibVLC, are shipped inside the app under Settings → Open Source Licenses. That copy is the authoritative one.
