NeoVid Converter — Effective 27 August 2026
Summary: By using NeoVid Converter, you agree to these Terms. You must only convert media files you have the legal right to process. The app uses LGPL-licensed FFmpeg libraries, and nothing in these terms limits your right to reverse engineer the app to debug modifications to those libraries.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NetsoftTouch ("we", "us", "our") regarding your use of the NeoVid Converter mobile application ("the App").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
Subject to these Terms, NetsoftTouch grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install, and use the App on compatible Android devices that you own or control. You may use the App for personal or business purposes; what you may not do is redistribute, resell, or sublicence the App itself, as set out in section 5.
The App incorporates FFmpeg and related libraries licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3 (LGPL v3) and various permissive open-source licences (BSD, MIT, Apache 2.0, and others). The complete list of components, their verbatim licence texts, and the corresponding source code offer are available in the App under Settings → Open Source Licenses.
Reverse engineering permitted for LGPL compliance:
Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to reverse engineer the App to the
extent necessary to debug modifications to the LGPL-licensed libraries, as
required by LGPL v3 §4. You may replace the LGPL-licensed
shared libraries (.so files) with modified versions for your own
use, subject to the LGPL v3 terms.
You agree to:
Copyright responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to convert any media file. We do not monitor, verify, or assume liability for the content you process with the App.
The App is free to download and every tool in it is available without payment. The free tier includes 5 conversions per calendar day, measured against your device’s local time and reset at midnight. A conversion is counted only when it completes successfully; jobs that fail, that you cancel, or that produce no output are not counted against your allowance.
When the allowance runs out you may optionally watch a rewarded video advertisement to receive 3 additional conversions, up to 3 times per day. Watching is entirely your choice and is never required to use the App.
We may change the size of the free allowance, the rewarded-ad top-up, or the daily cap on top-ups. Where a change materially reduces what the free tier offers, we will make it clear in the App and in the Google Play listing. Paid tiers are not affected by these limits.
The App offers optional paid upgrades ("Premium" or "Pro") through Google Play Billing, including monthly subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. Premium removes the daily conversion allowance entirely and removes all advertising, including any prompt to watch a rewarded ad. It further unlocks hardware-accelerated encoding, 320 kbps audio export, two simultaneous conversions instead of one, and completion alerts, together with other enhanced capabilities as described in the App.
All purchases are processed through Google Play and are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Prices are displayed in your local currency before purchase.
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown at the time of purchase, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period already paid for, and you keep Premium access until that period ends. Google Play, not NetsoftTouch, administers renewals and cancellations. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play → Subscriptions.
Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads are governed by Google's advertising policies. Premium users do not see ads.
Some advertisements are rewarded: the App offers you the option of watching a short video in exchange for additional daily conversions, and tells you what the reward is before the ad begins. Watching is always optional, the reward is granted only when Google’s ad SDK confirms the ad was completed, and closing an ad early simply means no reward is granted. Premium users are never offered rewarded ads.
For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, a consent dialog is presented before ads are loaded. You can update your ad preferences at any time from Settings → Privacy Options (Ad Consent).
Except for the open-source components identified in Section 4, the App's design, code, graphics, icons, and branding are the intellectual property of NetsoftTouch and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
"FFmpeg" is a trademark of Fabrice Bellard. NeoVid Converter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FFmpeg project or its contributors.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NETSOFTTOUCH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP AND ITS IN-APP PURCHASES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM AND (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD 50).
Nothing in sections 9 or 10 excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your statutory rights in respect of digital content are unaffected by these Terms.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NetsoftTouch from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights, including copyright.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use the App is revoked. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, and 16) will continue to apply.
The App integrates with third-party services including Google AdMob, Google Firebase (Crashlytics & Analytics), and Google Play Billing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party service providers.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Vietnam.
Consumers. If you use the App as a consumer, this choice of law and forum does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of the country in which you habitually reside, and it does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in the courts of that country where local law gives you that right.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NetsoftTouch regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
